Four Michelin Stars
Atticus was raised in a quiet area of Marseilles, France. Being raised by a single mother, and being the eldest of four, meant that he was always helping out around the house. Cooking, which was out of necessity and survival, quickly sparked his passion towards wanting to become a Chef. He was a natural talent that only was refined when he attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. From there he wound up working in kitchens under famous chefs. Being surrounded by such incredible talent only made his foundations better. When he isn't working like a dog in the kitchens, he is riding his motorcycle, finding fresh ingredients and catch at the markets, doting on his boyfriend, and vacationing in the countryside.
Quinte was Atticus' first restaurant that also was awarded his first Michelin star. His success catapulted him into the culinary spotlight and has granted him the opportunity to open more restaurants and be more involved in learning the ins and outs of business. From there he opened his Cajun-inspired restaurant: Envie. Magazines and travel channels highlighted his success, however, deep down Atticus is hungering for more. The Border Collie finds himself unsatisfied these days and is longing for something new, something fresh, and something full of life to revitalize his passion for the art of cooking. While he started as a bright-eyed, optimistic rogue, he has turned into a hardened, scarred, and hard to read adult. He is a chef; hard working, foul mouthed, and incredibly driven to succeed... yet the frustration of having no inspiration has ran him into a hiatus. He needs something - or someone - to challenge and inspire him to create.

Relationships
Reid
Atticus is very fond of his boyfriend, even though it can be hard to tell sometimes from an outside perspective. One would presume that they are like oil and water, with Atticus being so high strung and stubborn, but Reid is patient and sees through Atticus' defenses easily. Atticus is very doting and protective of Reid, while Reid teaches the border collie to slow down and enjoy life a little. |
Alazar
A political journalist that, thankfully, never was a food critic. Alazar is a fellow Frenchman who Atticus met at a restaurant opening in America. They bonded over their country, their love of wine, and of course being queer. Alazar always has a reserved table at Atticus' restaurants and often helps pick out the wine menu while they summer at a family cottage in the countryside. |
Sweet Onion
This sweet bunny has been friends with Atticus since their beginnings as chefs. SO met Atticus during a semester abroad program in France, and even helped him out by letting him couch surf when he came to America to start Quinte. She is his close confidante and is Atticus feels that he owes her his life for helping so much in America when he felt so adrift. |
